William Penn Collection at Reading Public Library

William Penn Collection – On display through December 2024-25 Reading Public Library will be debuting their new collection of William Penn’s collective writings beginning this December. In partnership with the institution’s sister library in the U.K., Reading Central Library of the U.K., the Reading Public Library’s new display will feature A Collection of the Works of William Penn, originally published in 1726. A 1700s indenture from King George III and a letter to Thomas and Richard Penn will also be featured in the collection. Reading Public Library Names Perrotty as Annual Appeal Chair

Reading Public Library announced on Monday, Oct. 28, that Craig Perrotty has been named as the Campaign Chair of the institution’s 2024 Annual Appeal. Craig has been a dedicated member of the Reading Public Library Board since 2013, but his commitment to the community goes far beyond his role at the library. Cocktails and Classics Event Raises over $135,000 for Reading Public Library

The Reading Public Library Foundation has announced that their fourteenth annual “Cocktails & Classics” raised a grand total of over $135,000 this past Friday evening. Director of Advancement and Communication, Carolyn Shultz Spano, says the event drew inover 330 guests at the DoubleTree by Hilton Reading.
