Senior Outreach

Your library improves the lives of city seniors by taking their favorite books, movies and music to our city senior retirement communities. Senior Outreach Librarian Ryan Yanchocik visits city senior communities, providing library materials to browse and borrow, including books in large/regular print, CDs, DVDs, and music CDs. Ryan knows his customers by their name and reading preferences, and provides book, movie and music recommendations on request.

Check Out Telehealth at your Library.

Telemedicine support is now provided to seniors, and those individuals on assisted living, in the city of Reading. You will be provided with all the necessary training and tools.

Where we deliver:

We deliver weekly on a rotating schedule to places where residents are unable to come physically into the library.
