Telehealth
In response to a critical need for telemedicine support, in May 2023 digital literacy support was added with funding from the American Rescue Plan (ARP) from the city of Reading. Support will be provided to seniors, and those individuals on assisted living, in the city of Reading.

• Sign up for a library card if you don’t have one
• Training will be provided for telehealth and iPad use
The Telehealth program is free of charge to qualifying* patrons with a library card. (If you do not have a library card you will be signed up for one, provided you have ID that includes your home address.) Participants will receive an iPad and hotspot if needed. Training will be provided on using an iPad, emailing, video chatting, downloading apps, taking photos, and privacy protection. We will work with you and your healthcare provider to find the best way to connect.
