Federal Depository Library Program

The Reading Public Library is a participant in the Federal Depository Library Program, a cooperative agreement between the Government Printing Office (who create and distribute federal publications) and a consortium of public, academic, and special libraries.

The Reading Public Library has been a partner in the F.D.L.P. since 1901. The F.D.L.P. has over 1,200 member institutions.  This cooperative is designed to guarantee that government information is made free and readily available to all Americans.
